YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO OUR WEDDING RECEPTION

YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO OUR WEDDING RECEPTION

Like Noah Kahan said, “I want to go to Maine.”

That line stuck with us, and now it’s where we’re going to say “I do.”

We’ll be in Portland, celebrating by the ocean with our immediate family, eating oysters and keeping things simple, saying our vows beside Portland Head Light with the ocean as our backdrop.

This just felt right, meaningful, intentional, and very us.

We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you at the reception and share stories from the day.

FROM "HI" TO "I DO"

FROM "HI" TO "I DO"

We met at an event Mikaya was throwing for The Friendlier City Project. Kayla drove in from New Martinsville and spent most of the night debating whether to say hello. Right before leaving, she finally did, shook Mikaya’s hand (three times), and asked if she was single.

Not long after, we had our first date at Generations. On October 13th, we made it official.

There were a lot of long drives between New Martinsville and Bridgeport, until we decided to “haul” and not only move in together, but buy a home together.

Our home is filled with so much love, a black lab named Tillie, and the start of everything we’re building. In our unfinished living room, Mikaya hung string lights, made a vinyl of our favorite songs, ordered a vintage cake, and proposed to Kayla on October 13th. She said yes.

Even though it was already clear we were engaged, Kayla still surprised Mikaya with an intimate picnic proposal in our backyard.

Every day together feels like spending it with your best friend.
